Alternative Dispute Resolution
We are experienced trial lawyers. But at times, our clients are better served by alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, and negotiated settlements. Jenny Lloyd is a member of the American Arbitration Association commercial arbitration panel and is a certified mediator. We have experience before various arbitral organizations, including the American Arbitration Association, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and the International Court of Arbitration. We have mediated and settled disputes before litigation is filed up to the eve of trial. We think creatively about smart business resolutions for our clients with their competitors, partners, and customers, when it suits our client’s business objectives.
Fiduciary and Securities Litigation
We represent businesses and individuals in claims involving securities fraud, investor and shareholder disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty, merger and acquisition disputes and white collar criminal defense. We represent parties in arbitration before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and in administrative and civil proceedings involving the Securities and Exchange Commission.
We represent employers and employees in cases involving alleged employee misconduct, employee termination, confidentiality agreements, non-solicitation and non-compete agreements. We also represent employers in cases involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, sexual harassment, violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and violations of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
